In a groundbreaking move for francophone female artists, Aya Nakamura is set to perform three consecutive shows at the iconic Stade de France in May 2026. This historic achievement marks her as the first female francophone artist to headline the venue for three nights in a row, a feat previously reserved for global stars.

The concerts, scheduled for May 29, 30, and 31, will showcase Nakamura's enormous popularity, as the Stade de France can host up to 100,000 fans per night. The announcement was made via social media, where she cleverly referenced a famous line from footballer Kylian Mbappé, stating, "Not happy? Triple it!" following the message that the first two dates were sold out.

Tickets for the additional date went on sale on October 31, 2025, at noon. Considering the rapid sell-out success of the first two concerts, it's expected that this 'triple' spectacle will follow suit. Prior to Nakamura's stint, French artist Mylène Farmer had filled the Stade de France three times during her 2024 Nevermore tour, although not on consecutive nights.

In terms of record-setting, the legendary Johnny Hallyday holds the title for the most appearances at Stade de France, with nine shows across 1998, 2009, and 2012. These multi-night performances have been a rare accomplishment, shared by only a select few artists worldwide.

Internationally, Beyoncé recently captured audiences with her three-night 'Cowboy Carter Tour' in 2025, filling seats over consecutive nights and grossing over 34 million euros, a benchmark in profitability. Similarly, Coldplay has made history with a record-setting four-night run in 2022.

The upcoming performances by Canadian sensation The Weeknd, set for summer 2026, will also reinforce this elite club, as he plans to add another sequence of sold-out nights, equating Coldplay's notable run.

As the Stade de France has hosted legendary acts like Johnny Hallyday, Beyoncé, Coldplay, Muse, U2, and AC/DC, Nakamura's achievement signifies a new chapter in her illustrious career. Following her captivating collaboration with the Republican Guard at the Paris 2024 Olympics, Nakamura has rocketed to global prominence, establishing her own label after parting with Warner Music.

Her upcoming album, 'Destinée,' set to release on November 21, 2025, is highly anticipated. This incredible streak of performances at the Stade de France sets a new standard for Aya Nakamura and paves the way for her to chase the legendary records held by the likes of Hallyday and Beyoncé in the years to come.
