The War on Drugs have officially announced the return of their celebrated annual 'Drugcember to Remember' benefit concert series. Originating in 2018, the series highlights the spirit of giving back, with all proceeds directed to the Fund for the School District of Philadelphia to support public education.

This year's series is set for December 18-20 at the beloved venue, Johnny Brenda’s, a favorite haunt for the band in their hometown of Philadelphia. Tickets will be available for purchase starting Friday, November 21, at 10 a.m. local time.

Now celebrating its sixth year, 'Drugcember to Remember' goes beyond concerts. Additional fundraising efforts are also in the works, allowing fans an opportunity to support while enjoying exclusive merchandise. Local businesses such as Elixr Coffee, Sacred Vice Brewing, and Uncle Ron’s Candles join this initiative.

Frontman Adam Granduciel expressed his excitement in a press release: "Another Drugcember to remember! This has been a year-end highlight for me since we started doing it in 2018. Three rock shows at our old local hangout benefiting the Philadelphia school system. This band wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t for the vibrant Philadelphia community that has supported us since the beginning and we are very grateful for it."

The band's latest album, I Don’t Live Here Anymore, released in 2021, continues to resonate with fans and critics alike. Following that release, the band shared Live Drugs Again, with live recordings spanning 2014 to 2019.
