Ariana Grande Jokes About Extra Finger: 'I Need Some Extra Appendages So That I Can Start an Album!'

Ariana Grande has been incredibly busy, juggling her Eternal Sunshine album, filming Wicked, and managing her R.E.M. Beauty company. However, a recent Photoshop mishap might just provide her with the means to tackle even more.

Fans hilariously pointed out that in a Vogue Japan photoshoot, Grande appeared to have an extra pinkie finger. The photo features Grande in a floral blouse, leaning against a wall.

"holy s--t," she commented on a fan’s Instagram post highlighting the editing flaw.

She added, “oh my goodness how exciting ! i’ve been saying i need some extra appendages so that i can start an album ! thankful for this.”

Ironically, Grande discussed her packed schedule in the Vogue Japan interview, explaining why she doesn’t have time for a follow-up to her Billboard 200-topping 2024 LP. "You’ll have to clone me!" she joked when asked about AG8.

Despite her busy schedule, she's not planning a break. After filming a Meet the Parents sequel in October, Grande is preparing for a small summer tour. She is also set to voice a character in Jon M. Chu’s adaptation of Dr. Seuss’ Oh, the Places You’ll Go and star alongside Jonathan Bailey in a 2027 West End revival of Saturday in the Park With George.

“I think that it would probably be healthy to [take a break],” she told Vogue Japan. “I’m not used to taking breaks. But yeah, these past few years have been pretty nonstop. And by few, I mean 15.”
