Bill Callahan Announces U.S. Tour in Support of 'My Days of 58'
Bill Callahan is hitting the road! The acclaimed singer-songwriter has announced a U.S. tour to celebrate his upcoming album, My Days of 58, with support from Jana Horn, Otto Benson, and Noveller.
Bill Callahan has officially announced a U.S. tour in support of his highly anticipated album, My Days of 58. The tour kicks off on May 1 in Oklahoma City, promising fans a series of intimate and captivating performances.
Accompanying Callahan will be the core musicians who helped bring My Days of 58 to life: guitarist Matt Kinsey, tenor saxophonist Dustin Laurenzi, and drummer Jim White. This is the same tight-knit ensemble that contributed to the 2024 live album, Resuscitate!, ensuring a seamless and electrifying stage presence.
Before embarking on the U.S. leg, Callahan will treat his UK fans to a series of record-store sets from February 23 through 27, offering a sneak peek into the new album’s sonic landscape.
So far, Callahan has released two mesmerizing tracks from My Days of 58: “The Man I’m Supposed to Be” and “Lonely City.” The latter was accompanied by a captivating video montage featuring the raw and evocative street photography of Daniel Arnold, marking the first time Arnold has allowed his work to be used in a music video. Fans may also recall Callahan's previous studio album, Ytilaer, released in 2022, which further solidified his status as a masterful storyteller.
