Broken Social Scene Unveils New Single "Hey Amanda" Ahead of Remember the Humans Release
Canadian supergroup Broken Social Scene drops "Hey Amanda," a taste of their highly anticipated album Remember the Humans, their first in nine years.
Broken Social Scene's first album in nine years, Remember the Humans, is set to arrive in less than two months. The Canadian collective has just shared another single, "Hey Amanda," following the release of "Not Around Anymore."
According to the band, the song is "about being yourself, and how people will always question that."
Remember The Humans is due out May 8 on Arts & Crafts. This marks BSS’s first new studio LP since 2017’s Hug of Thunder. In the interim, they released the 2019 Let’s Try the After EPs in two volumes, plus a compilation of B-sides and rarities called Old Dead Young in 2022.
BSS will support the new LP later this year on a joint North American tour with Metric (who also have a new album, Romanticize the Dive, out April 24) and Stars.
