Bruno Mars Risks It All, Conquers Latin Charts with Spanish Remake

Bruno Mars is making waves in the Latin music scene. His Spanish-language rendition of "Risk It All," titled "Lo Arriesgo Todo," has stormed the Billboard Latin charts, marking a significant comeback for the acclaimed artist.

Released on May 8th via Atlantic Records, "Lo Arriesgo Todo" isn't just a simple translation; it's Mars' first foray into a full Spanish-language studio recording. The gamble paid off handsomely.

The track debuted at No. 20 on the Hot Latin Songs chart. It also immediately seized the No. 1 position on both the Hot Latin Pop Songs and Latin Digital Songs Sales charts. It bowed at No. 6 on the Latin Pop Airplay chart (dated May 23).

The original English version of "Risk It All" is featured on Mars' album, The Romantic, which dropped on February 27th. The album has proven to be a chart juggernaut.

Combining both English and Spanish versions, "Risk It All" has re-entered the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, climbing from 15-8. It's also making moves on other charts, rising 11-9 on Radio Songs and 5-3 on Adult R&B Airplay. It remains steady at No. 9 on Pop Airplay.

"Risk It All" is the second single from The Romantic, following the No. 1 hit "I Just Might." The album itself gave Bruno Mars his second chart-topper on the Billboard 200 albums chart in March.

On the Hot Latin Songs chart, "Lo Arriesgo Todo"’s No. 20 debut is fueled by streams, airplay, and sales. According to Luminate, the track generated 1.6 million streams, 1.9 million airplay audience impressions, and 1,000 downloads in the U.S. during the week ending May 14. The downloads propelled Mars to his first No. 1 on Latin Digital Song Sales.

This debut marks a triumphant return to the Latin charts for Mars, securing his highest-charting entry to date. His previous peak was his feature on Bad Meets Evil’s "Lighters," which reached No. 22 in 2011. "Lo Arriesgo Todo" is also his first Spanish-language track among his seven entries on Hot Latin Songs.

On the Latin Pop Airplay chart, the No. 6 debut for "Lo Arriesgo Todo" is Mars' second top 10, following his feature on Mark Ronson’s "Uptown Funk," which peaked at No. 8 in 2015.
