BTS' Jimin Goes Platinum Blonde Ahead of 'Arirang' Album Release

The wait is almost over for ARMYs worldwide. With only days remaining until BTS unveils their highly anticipated fifth album, Arirang, even the members themselves are feeling the excitement as they gear up for their first full-band release in six years.
 "ARMY Everyone, the album will be released soon! I’m so nervous that I don’t know what to do,” Jimin shared in a recent Weverse post, accompanied by a selfie showcasing his new platinum blonde hair. “I hope you listen to it happily, and I’ll finish it off well and show you a great side!! Please look forward to it I love you 😊”
It's been four years since ARMYs have been waiting for the return of all seven band members’ from their compulsory South Korean army service. The group recently revealed the album's artwork, featuring RM, Jin, Suga, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook in dark gray and black business suits.
The 14-song Arirang follows up 2020’s Be, which topped the Billboard 200 chart and included hits like “Life Goes On” and “Dynamite.” It remains to be seen if BTS can recapture their momentum, but their previous successes suggest a smooth return to the top.
In the coming weeks, BTS will be performing a concert, BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG, streaming live from Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul, South Korea on Saturday (March 21). They also launched a scavenger hunt via a mobile game hosted by Google.
Following Arirang‘s release, BTS will embark on a massive world stadium tour in 2026 and 2027, starting on April 9 in Goyang, South Korea, and arriving in the U.S. on April 25 for shows in Tampa, Fla.
