Corona Capital 2026: Gorillaz, The Strokes, and Twenty One Pilots to Headline Mexico City Fest
The Corona Capital festival in Mexico City announces its 2026 lineup, featuring headliners Gorillaz, The Strokes, and Twenty One Pilots, alongside over 70 other acts.

The Corona Capital festival is set to electrify Mexico City this November with a lineup boasting over 70 acts.
Gorillaz, The Strokes, and Twenty One Pilots are headlining the 16th edition of Corona Capital, as announced by promoter OCESA. The festival will take place November 20-22 at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez.
The lineup also includes The xx, Lola Young, Mumford & Sons, The Offspring, Underworld, Daniel Caesar, James Blake, and Lil Yachty.
Other notable acts include Mother Mother, Pierce The Veil, The Kooks, Tricky, The Black Crowes, Manic Street Preachers, Yung Lean, Violet Grohl, Chvrches, and Johnny Marr.
This year marks the debut of Gorillaz at the festival as part of their Mountain Tour and the first time Manic Street Preachers will perform in Mexico. The Strokes will also return to Mexico City after four years.
"In every edition, we strive to strike a balance between legendary artists, contemporary acts, and new talents that are shaping the future of music,” said Memo Parra, creator of Corona Capital and current director of international events at OCESA, to Billboard Español. He also emphasized the focus on fan experience, including production, infrastructure, gastronomy, comfort, technology, and services.
Parra added that today's audience is more connected, informed, and demanding, which drives the festival to constantly innovate and deliver a top-tier experience.
Promoters anticipate around 240,000 attendees over the three-day event. Presale for Citibanamex cardholders begins on May 26, with general tickets on sale the following day.
Over its 16 years, Corona Capital has become a prominent international music festival in Mexico, featuring Anglo artists, similar to Lollapalooza's Chilean and Brazilian editions.
"Latin America, and particularly Mexico, has become one of the most important markets for the global live entertainment industry,” Parra noted, highlighting the combination of passionate audiences, rich musical culture, world-class infrastructure, and high attendance levels.
Past festivals have featured acts such as Paul McCartney, The Cure, Nine Inch Nails, Muse, Foo Fighters, Arctic Monkeys, Blur, Portishead, Interpol, Billie Eilish, Pixies, and Richard Ashcroft.
