Delta Goodrem to Represent Australia at Eurovision 2026 with New Single "Eclipse"
Delta Goodrem has been selected to represent Australia at the 70th Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna with her new single, "Eclipse."
Australia has chosen Delta Goodrem to represent the country at the 70th Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, Austria, SBS and Beyond Productions announced.
Goodrem will perform her newly released single “Eclipse” at Wiener Stadthalle in May. Eurovision is broadcast to over 160 million viewers globally.
“I’m so honoured to represent Australia on one of the biggest and most iconic music stages in the world at Eurovision!” Goodrem stated.
“As a singer-songwriter, music has been my lifelong passion... I can’t wait to arrive in Vienna and make Australia proud.”
“Eclipse,” released on ATLED Records, was co-written by Goodrem, Ferras Alqaisi, Jonas Myrin, and Michael Fatkin, who also produced the track. The song reportedly builds from vulnerability to a powerful crescendo.
The music video, directed by Liam Pethick, was filmed in Newcastle, NSW, featuring Goodrem amidst mirrored plinths.
Goodrem signed her first record deal at 15. Her debut album, Innocent Eyes, became a best-selling album in Australian history.
Goodrem has sold over nine million albums worldwide, with five No. 1 albums and nine No. 1 singles, earning 12 ARIA Awards. She has toured with Celine Dion, Olivia Newton-John, and others.

Austria’s JJ won the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest in Basel, Switzerland, with “Wasted Love.”
The 2026 contest runs from May 12-16 in Vienna, with SBS coverage from May 13-17.
