Did **Usher** and **Justin Bieber** Throw Down at **Beyoncé** and **Jay-Z**'s Oscars After-Party?

Reports are circulating that Justin Bieber and Usher were involved in an altercation at Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s Oscars after-party last weekend.

The 98th Academy Awards took place in Hollywood on March 15th, followed by Beyoncé and Jay-Z's annual, highly exclusive after-party at the Chateau Marmont, a tradition since 2018.

Among the A-list attendees were Bieber and Usher, and according to TMZ, a heated exchange took place between the two. TMZ reported that Usher approached Bieber with noticeable “energy and anger,” leading to a confrontation that some sources described as a potential fist fight.

It's important to note that TMZ clarified that law enforcement was not involved, and neither artist's representatives have confirmed the incident.

The star-studded guest list also included Oscar winners Michael B. Jordan and Ryan Coogler, along with Timothée Chalamet, Emma Stone, Jacob Elordi, Austin Butler, Megan Fox, and Emma Watson. Rumors also suggest that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce made a discreet appearance.

Usher and Bieber's history dates back to 2008 when Usher, in partnership with Scooter Braun, signed Bieber to their Raymond Braun Media Group. They collaborated on tracks like ‘First Dance’ and the ‘Somebody To Love’ remix, with Usher acting as a mentor.

It has been reported that Bieber declined an invitation to perform during Usher’s 2024 Super Bowl halftime show. He also unfollowed Usher on social media the following year, hinting at a possible rift.

In other Bieber news, he recently performed in his boxer shorts at the Grammys last month, singing ‘Yukon’ from his album ‘SWAG’. It marked his first Grammys appearance since 2012 and sparked varied reactions from fans.

NME gave ‘SWAG’ a three-star review, noting: “It’s frustrating because there’s plenty of great material scattered across these two parts, which would be far stronger as a single, shorter release. Put bluntly, you have to wonder: did this really need to be a double album?”

Since his Super Bowl performance, Usher released his concert film Rendezvous, followed by his latest album, ‘Coming Home’, featuring collaborations with Summer Walker, 21 Savage, H.E.R., BTS’s Jungkook, Burna Boy, Latto, and more.
