Earl Sweatshirt, MIKE, and Surf Gang Unite for Collaborative Album 'Pompeii // Utility'

Earl Sweatshirt, MIKE, and Surf Gang are making their longtime friendship album-official with the announcement of the forthcoming double LP Pompeii // Utility, out April 3rd via 10k, Tan Cressida, and Surf Gang Records. Check out the video for the slick dual-lead single “Minty // Earth” below as well as the project’s 33-song tracklist and accompanying live dates.

Earl and MIKE—alongside Surf Gang co-founders Harrison, evilgiane, and Eera—have been circling each other for years, both as collaborators and tourmates. The supergroup will take the road again this year, supporting Pompeii // Utility with their Home on the Range trek. It kicks off in North America in June before heading to Europe.

MIKE and Earl released acclaimed solo albums in 2025; the former with Showbiz! and the latter with Live Laugh Love. Surf Gang’s previous release, with British rapper Jawnino, dropped in December.
