Eaux Claires Festival Returns After 8-Year Hiatus: Dijon, Kevin Morby, Lil Yachty, and More to Headline

Yesterday, the Eaux Claires Festival announced its highly anticipated return after an 8-year hiatus. The festival, curated by Bon Iver, promises a vibrant and eclectic experience for music lovers.

The lineup is now revealed, and it's packed with talent. Fans can look forward to performances by Dijon, Kevin Morby, Lil Yachty, Daniel Caesar, Hotline TNT, Julianna Barwick, and Mary Lattimore. Adding a unique touch, Aimee Mann will perform her critically acclaimed 2000 album, Bachelor No. 2.

Beyond the music, the festival will also host an inaugural class of writers-in-residence, including Sheila Heti, Mustafa, Amanda Petrusich, and Sean Thor Conroe, adding a literary dimension to the event.

The Eau Claire, Wisconsin, event is set to take place at its new location, Carson Park baseball stadium, from July 24 to 25. The lineup also includes Monica Martin, Nathan & the Zydeco Cha Chas, and the Union feat. Phil Cook. Intriguingly, an artist is listed as Bon Dylan, leaving fans to speculate. (Pitchfork has requested clarification on this).

Eaux Claires previously ran for four years beginning in 2015, regularly showcasing sets from Justin Vernon and the National’s Aaron Dessner, along with the extended Bon Iver universe. In 2018, the festival announced a break for 2019, with plans to return in 2020, which were unfortunately disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
