Flight of the Conchords Return to the Stage After Eight Years!
Get ready, fans! The hilarious musical duo Flight of the Conchords are reuniting for their first performances in eight years at the Netflix Is A Joke Fest in Los Angeles.

The wait is over! Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement, the comedic geniuses behind Flight of the Conchords, are set to grace the stage once again. After an eight-year hiatus, the beloved Kiwi duo will be performing at the Netflix Is A Joke Fest in Los Angeles this May.
Their last performance together was in 2018, when they filmed a series of shows at Hammersmith Apollo for the HBO special, Flight of the Conchords: Live in London.
This reunion promises a delightful mix of “fan favorites” and their signature “classic banter.” Notably, these shows will be their only US dates for 2026, making them a must-see event for any Conchords enthusiast.
Due to overwhelming demand, a second show was added for May 10th at the Greek Theatre, in addition to the original May 9th date.
Tickets for the second show went on sale January 23rd.
Since their HBO show concluded in 2009, both Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement have been actively pursuing individual projects in acting and music.
Bret McKenzie released his debut solo album, ‘Songs Without Jokes,’ in 2022, showcasing a more serious side of his musicality. He described the album to NME as a collection of sincere tracks, explaining, “As much as I love comedy music, I don’t really listen to it in everyday life”.
He followed up with his second solo album ‘Freak Out City’ last year. Additionally, McKenzie has contributed songs to films such as A Minecraft Movie, Plankton: The Movie, and Thelma The Unicorn, and previously served as music supervisor for The Muppets (2011) and Muppets Most Wanted (2014).
Jemaine Clement, on the other hand, has focused on film roles. He co-wrote, co-produced, directed, and starred in the mockumentary comedy-horror film What We Do In The Shadows alongside Taika Waititi.
Clement has also appeared in major motion pictures such as Avatar: The Way of Water, Avatar: Fire and Ash, and M3GAN 2.0. He has lent his voice to animated films like Despicable Me, Rio, The BFG, and Moana.
