FLO Announces Sophomore Album 'Therapy at the Club'
British girl group FLO unveils details for their upcoming album, 'Therapy at the Club,' promising a deep dive into R&B and pop sounds with themes of desire, heartbreak, and healing.
FLO, the dynamic U.K. girl group, is gearing up to release their sophomore album, Therapy at the Club. According to the group, the project is set to drop July 24 via Republic Records.
The album's title, Therapy at the Club, hints at the themes explored within. Expect a blend of "dark, euphoric R&B and pop with diaristic storytelling." The songs will explore desire and heartbreak.
"We’re incredibly proud to finally share Therapy at the Club, our sophomore album, with the world," FLO shared in a statement. "It’s a body of work that feels super personal to us; it’s been a labor of love. For us, the club is more than just a night out, it’s like therapy. I mean, where else do you feel more understood than in a girls bathroom on a night out … that’s the vibe!"
The R&B-pop trio added, "We’ve been very hands-on with the writing and creation of this project alongside our very special collaborators, and that’s made it even more meaningful to us. This album represents where we are right now — honest, evolving, and unafraid to feel everything. We really hope you love it!"
FLO has tapped into a diverse range of talent for this album, including writers like Amy Allen, Steph Jones, Julian Bunetta, and Boy Matthews. They've also reunited with Sevyn Streeter, Oak Felder, and Skippz.
Therapy at the Club will feature 16 tracks, including the previously released single "Leak It." Their debut LP, Access All Areas, reached No. 163 on the Billboard 200 and No. 20 on the Top R&B Albums chart.
