Foo Fighters Announce Massive 2026/2027 Australia & New Zealand Tour
The Foo Fighters are set to embark on a major tour of Australia and New Zealand in the southern summer of 2026/2027, including shows in regional areas.

The Foo Fighters' recent one-off show in Tasmania was just a prelude to a larger tour.
Dave Grohl and Co. will return to Australia and New Zealand for a full tour during the next southern summer, with several regional performances planned.
The Take Cover tour begins Nov. 5, 2026, at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium, followed by dates in Townsville, Sydney, Newcastle, Melbourne, and Adelaide. After a break for the holidays, the tour will resume in Christchurch, Auckland, and conclude Jan. 25, 2027, at Perth’s HBF Park.
The tour Down Under follows their sold-out show in Launceston, Tasmania, the largest concert ever held in Tasmania.
During that show at UTAS Stadium on Jan. 24, Grohl promised the band would return before his next birthday, Jan. 14. Frontier Touring announced on Feb. 18 that they are producing the upcoming tour, fulfilling that promise.
Expect new material to be featured. Grohl told the Launceston crowd that they “might have a whole new record of f***ing songs that we just finished the other day,” confirming a follow-up to 2023’s But Here We Are.
The Foos (Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett, Pat Smear, Rami Jaffee, and Ilan Rubin) will be joined by 16 rising acts, all "handpicked" by the headliners, including Full Flower Moon Band, The Buoys, and Last Quokka.
The nine-date tour includes concerts in Townsville, North Queensland, and Newcastle, near Sydney, as well as Christchurch, New Zealand, where they will perform at the new One New Zealand Stadium, expected to be completed in April 2026.
The Foo Fighters have visited Australia 15 times, including their recent Tasmania show. Their last tour was in late 2023 to support But Here We Are. They have sold over 1.8 million records in Australia, with nine No. 1 albums.
Tickets go on sale next Wednesday, Feb. 25.
