Foo Fighters Announce New Album 'Your Favorite Toy,' Drop Title Track
Foo Fighters are set to release 'Your Favorite Toy' on April 24, following up on 2023's 'But Here We Are.' The title track is out now, offering a glimpse into the album's energetic direction.

The Foo Fighters are gearing up to release their new album, Your Favorite Toy, on April 24 via Roswell/RCA. Fans can dive into the title track now, a precursor to the full album which follows 2023’s But Here We Are. The band co-produced this home-recorded LP with Oliver Roman.
According to Grohl, the single was pivotal: "'Your Favorite Toy' really was the key that unlocked the tone and energetic direction of the new album. We stumbled upon it after experimenting with different sounds and dynamics for over a year, and the day it took shape I knew that we had to follow its lead. It was the fuse to the powder keg of songs we wound up recording for this record. It feels new."
Last October, the Foo Fighters previewed the album closer, “Asking for a Friend,” and announced stadium tour dates. Your Favorite Toy marks the debut album with new drummer Ilan Rubin, who succeeded Taylor Hawkins’ replacement, Josh Freese. Mark “Spike” Stent took on mixing duties.
