Foo Fighters Unleash 'Your Favorite Toy': A Raw Rock Experience

Want rock? You got it. The Foo Fighters have released Your Favorite Toy, their 12th studio album and a testament to their enduring rock legacy.
Your Favorite Toy is designed to be played loud. It's raw rock from Dave Grohl and the band, featuring previously released tracks like “Caught In The Echo,” the title track, and “All of the People,” which they recently performed live at the historic St James Church in Dingle, Ireland.
The Foos are set to promote the album with a performance on Saturday Night Live UK (Sky One) on April 25, along with the release of the official music video for “Window,” directed by Jake Erland, and the commencement of their Take Cover Tour. They previously teased the album's tracks on their website through an interactive, retro-style landing page.
The new album marks "the most fun we’ve had making a record in years,” according to Grohl, in an interview with Classic Rock. The band embraced a philosophy of “no rules, no pressure — just the joy of plugging in and seeing what happens.” The result is a 10-track, 36-minute collection that’s “loud, it’s melodic, it’s weird in places… but it feels like us. It feels alive.”
The LP, recorded at home and co-produced by the band and Oliver Roman (The Cribs, Wolfmother), introduces Ilan Rubin on drums, who replaced Josh Freese.
It follows 2023’s But Here We Are, which reached No. 8 on the Billboard 200.
The Foos' world tour begins with U.S. dates, starting April 28 in Bridgeport, CT. A European tour kicks off June 10 in Oslo, Norway, followed by a North American run in August and September. They'll also visit Australia and New Zealand in November and January 2027.
