Gorillaz to Make Long-Awaited 'SNL' Debut with Ryan Gosling Hosting
Gorillaz, the brainchild of Damon Albarn, are finally set to conquer Saturday Night Live on March 7th, with Ryan Gosling hosting. Expect tracks from their new album 'The Mountain'.

Damon Albarn has commanded countless stages with Blur and Gorillaz, but Saturday Night Live remained uncharted territory—until now. On March 7th, Gorillaz will make their highly anticipated SNL debut as the musical guest. The episode will be hosted by Ryan Gosling, marking his fourth appearance as host.
It's highly likely that Gorillaz will showcase tracks from their forthcoming album, The Mountain, which dropped on February 27th. In support of the album, Albarn and the band are also staging a series of shows dubbed House Of Kong in Los Angeles, following a residency in London last fall.
The Mountain boasts a plethora of guest collaborators, raising the possibility of surprise appearances during their SNL performance. Interestingly, Albarn is also featured on Don't Be Dumb, the latest album from A$AP Rocky, who himself graced the SNL stage (and even appeared in a sketch) just last month.
Gosling, on the other hand, will be on SNL to promote his upcoming sci-fi adventure film, Project Hail Mary. The February 28th episode will feature Mumford & Sons as the musical guest, with Heated Rivalry star Connor Storrie hosting.
