Hans Zimmer Announces 'The Next Level' Australian Arena Tour
Oscar and Grammy Award-winning composer Hans Zimmer is set to return to Australia for his 'The Next Level' arena tour, promising an immersive experience with a 19-piece band and cutting-edge stage design.
Hans Zimmer is taking his electrifying show to Australia for the second time in 18 months with The Next Level tour.
The German-born composer, celebrated for his iconic film scores, will journey across the continent, kicking off on October 12 at Perth’s RAC Arena, before heading to Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney.
Presented by Frontier Touring, Semmel Concerts, and RCI Global, Hans Zimmer Live – The Next Level promises to “push the boundaries of sound, staging, and scale, marking his boldest live chapter yet,” according to the official announcement.
Zimmer's 19-piece band will feature vocalists including Lisa Gerrard from Australia’s Dead Can Dance. The show will boast a striking, newly designed architectural stage, blending electronic sound design with powerful orchestration.
The Interstellar composer envisions the concert as an immersive party. "I want fans to feel like they’re at a rave party or riding a roller coaster," he shared. "For me, every show is a new voyage of discovery. The greatest challenge is the status quo – you have to do everything in your power to leave it behind and find and create something new."
Australians have shown immense appreciation for Zimmer and his extensive catalog, which includes scores from Gladiator, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Dark Knight, Interstellar, Mission: Impossible, F1, The Lion King, Black Hawk Down, The Last Samurai, and Dune, among others. He last toured the region in April 2025.
Hans Zimmer Live – The Next Level has already achieved significant success in Europe, completing 50 sold-out shows across 17 countries and selling over 600,000 tickets by April 2026.
Throughout his career, Zimmer has contributed to over 500 projects across various media, collectively grossing over $28 billion worldwide. His accolades include two Academy Awards, three Golden Globes, five Grammys, and an American Music Award.
Presales begin Tuesday, June 2, with general sales opening Wednesday, June 3 via frontiertouring/hanszimmerlive and Ticketek.com.au. All shows are all-ages.
