Jack Wagner Unmasked: 'The Masked Singer's' Eggplant Identity Revealed
Jack Wagner, the soap opera icon and former pop artist, was revealed as the Eggplant on The Masked Singer, bringing a surprising twist to Ozzfest Night.
The purple reign of the Eggplant has come to an end on The Masked Singer. On Wednesday night, Jack Wagner, known for his soap opera roles and past pop career, was unmasked, stunning the judges and audience alike.

This week's episode took a darker turn with Ozzfest Night, celebrating the music of Ozzy Osbourne.
Fresh from a 2026 BRIT Awards appearance honoring Ozzy, his daughter Kelly Osbourne joined as a guest panelist. This wasn't her first Masked Singer stint; she previously appeared as Ladybug in Season 2.
Contestants Eggplant, Galaxy Girl, High Voltage, and Pangolin kicked off the episode with a group performance of Ozzy Osbourne's 1980 hit, “Crazy Train.”
Eggplant and High Voltage landed in the bottom two and battled it out with Black Sabbath’s “Iron Man.” High Voltage prevailed, leading to the Eggplant's unmasking.
Wagner embraced the bizarre nature of the Eggplant costume. "Well, I love new characters. So this was certainly a challenge to bring life to the Eggplant. It’s just such a thrill,” he said.
As a pop artist, Wagner charted four songs on the Billboard Hot 100 in the 1980s, including “All I Need,” which peaked at No. 2 in 1984.
Wagner also shared a surprising connection to the Osbourne family, revealing he worked with Sharon Osbourne on Bold and the Beautiful. “We did a bed scene,” he revealed.
None of the panelists correctly guessed Wagner's identity, although Ken Jeong was close, guessing General Hospital alum Rick Springfield.
The remaining contestants in Season 14 are High Voltage, Pangolin, Galaxy Girl, Stingray, Cat Witch, Pugcasso, and Crane.
Wagner joins a list of unmasked celebrities including Heidi Montag (Snow Cone), Billy Ray Cyrus (Owl), Teddi Mellencamp (Calla Lily), Claudia Oshry (Queen Corgi), Taraji P. Henson (Scarab), Tone Loc (Handyman), Tiffany Haddish (Le Who Who), Todd and Julie Chrisley (Croissants) and David “Big Papi” Ortiz (Googly Eyes).
