Jejune Reunites After 27 Years for Surprise California Show
Emo band Jejune, known for their 90s albums, reunited for a surprise performance in California after 27 years, playing tracks from their discography at La Jolla's Che Cafe.

Last year, Numero Group reissued music from Jejune, the emo outfit that formed in 1996 and broke up in 2000. Responsible for three albums—Junk, This Afternoon's Malady, R.I.P—the group is back now and ready to shred.
Last night they reunited for a surprise show in California, and it was their first in 27 years.
At La Jolla's Che Cafe, Jejune pulled out tracks from throughout their discography. Back in October, they announced three shows in Japan with the ambient artist the Album Leaf and the fellow long-defunct '90s emo crew Ethel Meserve. Those are happening next month. Check out footage from Jejune's surprise performance below.
