Jelly Roll and Shaboozey Ride 'Amen' to the Top of Country Airplay Chart

Shaboozey and Jelly Roll are currently dominating Billboard's Country Airplay chart, dated March 28, as their collaborative track “Amen” ascends to the No. 1 position. According to Luminate, the song experienced a 2% increase, amassing 32.9 million audience impressions between March 13-19.

Co-penned by both artists alongside four other writers, “Amen” becomes Shaboozey’s third chart-topper on Country Airplay. This follows his previous successes with “Good News” (which held the top spot for two weeks in September 2025) and “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” (which reigned for seven weeks in August-September 2024). For Jelly Roll, this marks his ninth No. 1, continuing his unbroken streak since his first, “Son of a Sinner,” in 2023. He now holds the record for the longest active streak among all artists. Previously, Luke Combs held the record for the longest uninterrupted run of No. 1 promoted singles, with 14 from 2017-22.

Both Shaboozey and Jelly Roll have been racking up Country Airplay milestones. “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” reached No. 1 in just 13 weeks, a feat matched or surpassed by only 5% of No. 1 hits since 2015. It also became the list’s longest-leading breakthrough hit. Jelly Roll’s “Liar,” his longest-reigning song (six weeks, February-March 2025), took 14 weeks to reach the summit, a rate achieved by approximately 7% of leaders in that period. Since the chart's inception in 1990, No. 1 songs have typically taken an average of 21 weeks to reach the top.

Beyond radio airplay, Shaboozey recently performed at RodeoHouston on March 13. He also hosted a Spotify event backstage before performing “Amen” for an estimated crowd of over 67,000.

‘Brunette’ Turns Heads

Tucker Wetmore achieves his third Country Airplay top 10 hit as “Brunette” rises from 12-10 (17 million, up 8%). Co-written by Chris LaCorte, Chase McGill, Josh Miller, and Blake Pendergrass, the track follows his previous hits “Wind Up Missin’ You” and “3,2,1,” each peaking at No. 2.

Brown’s Back

Kane Brown debuts “Woman” at No. 23 on Country Airplay, marking his return to the survey after ten years and one month. Hailing from Chattanooga, Tenn., Brown has accumulated 14 top 10 hits, including 12 No. 1s, and recently renewed his partnership with Sony Music Nashville.
