Kehlani Teases Star-Studded Album with Clipse Collaboration

Kehlani's upcoming album promises to be a star-studded affair. The R&B artist recently teased a collaboration with Clipse via an Instagram Story.

Kehlani posted a photo alongside Pusha T and Malice at a Grammy week party, captioning it, "Track 2. @Clipse." This Oakland and Virginia connection has fans buzzing with anticipation.

Adding fuel to the fire, Kehlani was also spotted in the studio with Pharrell, a long-time collaborator with Clipse. Pharrell produced the Thornton brothers' Let God Sort Em Out album, which is nominated for Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards.

During an interview with Inked Mag, Kehlani hinted that her upcoming album will feature more collaborations than her previous projects.

"I have way more collaborations than I’ve probably ever had, and they’re all people that I really, really respect," Kehlani said. "And I think the coolest thing about it is, there’s no features that feel like, ‘Oh, a label threw this together,’ or ‘Two people were popping right now, so we just threw it together.’ It was all super organic."

Kehlani continued, "Everybody’s just loving the music that’s being made. I have people that I adore and look up to on this, so I’m really excited about it."

The "Folded" artist has already confirmed that R&B legends Brandy and Usher are slated to appear on the album.

Kehlani earned their first top 10 Billboard Hot 100 hit with “Folded,” which is nominated for best R&B song and best R&B performance at the Grammys. Clipse received five Grammy nominations for their comeback album Let God Sort Em Out.
