Mariah Carey to be Honored at 2026 MusiCares Person of the Year Gala: Foo Fighters, Jennifer Hudson, and More Set to Perform!

The 35th annual MusiCares Person of the Year gala honoring Mariah Carey is shaping up to be an epic event! Set for January 30th at the Los Angeles Convention Center, just two nights before the 68th Annual Grammy Awards, the evening promises a blend of heartfelt tributes and electrifying performances.

Confirmed performers include Grammy winners Billy Porter, Foo Fighters, Jennifer Hudson, John Legend, and the rising star Laufey. Also hitting the stage are Grammy nominees Adam Lambert, Charlie Puth, Kesha, Maggie Rogers, and Teddy Swims, plus Taylor Momsen of The Pretty Reckless.

Carey expressed her excitement, stating, "I’m deeply honored to have these extraordinary artists come together for this evening. Their generosity, their presence and their commitment to this moment mean more to me than I can express. Kickstarting the night will be a specially curated DJ set by none other than Grammy winner Jermaine Dupri. Daniel Moore II will be the musical director, with production handled by the seasoned team at Lewis & Clark.

The gala will feature a cocktail reception, a seated dinner, and, of course, the all-star tribute concert. A live auction will also take place, offering exclusive experiences to benefit MusiCares' vital mission.
