MGK and Wiz Khalifa Drop Nostalgic 'Blog Era Boyz' Mixtape: A Throwback to the 2010s

MGK and Wiz Khalifa, two stars who rose to prominence in the early 2010s, are revisiting their breakthrough era with Blog Era Boyz, their new joint mixtape released on Friday, May 22.

The collaboration between Wiz Khalifa and MGK isn't new. They first collaborated in 2013 on "Mind of a Stoner" and reignited their partnership in 2026 with the release of two singles: "Girl Next Door" and “Everything Tatted."

Friendship and nostalgia are at the heart of this nine-track mixtape. The two artists are currently touring together, making the timing perfect for some new collaborative music.

Wiz is currently supporting MGK on the Lost Americana Tour, which resumed its second leg on May 15 in California. The tour will continue through various cities including Austin, Dallas, Atlanta, St. Louis, Toronto, Kansas City, and Vancouver, B.C., before concluding in Ridgefield, Wash., on July 1.

MGK is building on the success of his 2025 album, Lost Americana, which topped Billboard’s Top Rock & Alternative Albums chart. In April, the Cleveland artist collaborated with Limp Bizkit’s Fred Durst on “Fix Ur Face,” which reached the top of the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart.

Wiz Khalifa has consistently delivered new music to his fans this year. Before Blog Era Boyz, he contributed to five projects, including Khaotic, the Moses the Black soundtrack, Girls Love Horses, and the Roofless Records for Drop Tops double disc album with Curren$y.
