Indie darling Mitski is back with a new album on the horizon! 'Nothing's About to Happen to Me' is slated for a February 27 release via Dead Oceans, and she's giving fans a taste with the eerie new single and video, 'Where's My Phone?'

Mitski is gearing up to release her new album, Nothing's About to Happen to Me, on February 27th via Dead Oceans. To celebrate, she's dropped the lead single, "Where's My Phone?", alongside a visually stunning music video.
Directed by Noel Paul, the video draws inspiration from Shirley Jackson's novel We Have Always Lived in the Castle. Mitski embodies a captivating recluse, inhabiting a gothic mansion that's invaded by outsiders. Check it out below:
Last year saw the release of Mitski's concert film and live album, capturing the energy of her 2023 The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We tour. Members of her touring band even contributed to the new album. Plus, Mitski is reportedly working on a stage musical adaptation of The Queen’s Gambit.
