Morgan Wallen and Ella Langley Drop Heartbreak Anthem 'I Can't Love You Anymore'
Morgan Wallen and Ella Langley team up for a poignant duet, "I Can't Love You Anymore," following its debut performance in Tuscaloosa.
Ella Langley and Morgan Wallen have officially released their highly anticipated duet, “I Can’t Love You Anymore.” The song offers a raw and emotional exploration of heartbreak.
The pair initially showcased the track during Wallen’s Still the Problem tour stop in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, on April 18. According to Billboard, Wallen told the crowd, “Ella wrote this song and sent it me about a month ago and I loved it,” before they launched into the live debut.
In “I Can’t Love You Anymore,” Langley starts the song, and Wallen joins in for the chorus: “I can’t love you anymore/Can’t keep chasing you around in the back of my mind/I can’t need you anymore I’m sitting in this bed with your ghost every night.”
Earlier in April, the Dandelion singer hinted at the collaboration in her music video for “Choosin’ Texas.” The video features cameos from Luke Grimes and Miranda Lambert. Following her character’s breakup with a cowboy (played by Grimes), Langley gets a ride back to Tennessee with a country singer (Miranda Lambert). The license plate on the Chevy Gladiator reads “ICLYA,” an acronym for the new single.
Langley is scheduled to make her Stagecoach debut on Friday, April 24, and will also perform at this year’s CMA Fest, returning to Nashville’s Nissan Stadium from June 4-7. She will also be playing stadium shows with Wallen this spring and summer, as well as performing at festivals in California and Kentucky. In May, Langley will launch her headlining Dandelion tour to support her recent album release.
