Nicki Minaj Endorses Trump's 'Trump Accounts' at Upcoming Summit

Nicki Minaj continues to voice her support for the Donald Trump administration, this time by participating in a summit celebrating the launch of “Trump Accounts” in the United States.

On Saturday, January 24th, Minaj confirmed her attendance by reposting the official announcement for the event on X. The summit, scheduled for Wednesday at the Mellon Auditorium in Washington, D.C., will feature Trump and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent as key speakers, introducing the government’s new personal retirement savings program established under the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act.”

In a subsequent post, the artist expressed her enthusiasm about sharing the stage with notable figures, including Shark Tank's Kevin O’Leary, Curb Your Enthusiasm's Cheryl Hines (married to health official Robert F. Kennedy Jr.), Texas Senator Ted Cruz, and White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt.

"The true meaning of paying it forward," Minaj stated. "Early financial literacy & financial support for our children will give them a major head start in life. In some cases, they will end up teaching their very own parents how to invest & what to invest in."

The Grammy-nominated artist added, "This makes me very happy."

Despite facing criticism for her alignment with MAGA ideals, Minaj has consistently reinforced her support for Trump's policies since his return to office. Following her appearance with Erika Kirk at a Turning Point USA event, a petition calling for the rapper's deportation gained significant traction.

Earlier in January, she also sparked controversy by criticizing independent journalist Don Lemon, who was reporting on a protest against ICE in Minneapolis. "DON ‘C—K SUCKIN’ LEMON IS DISGUSTING," she wrote at the time. “LOCK HIM UP!!!!!”

In November, Minaj spoke at a United Nations event, commending Trump for addressing the alleged persecution of Christians in Nigeria.
