Pharrell Williams Knighted in France: Receives Légion d'Honneur from President Macron

Pharrell Williams is currently based in Paris as the Men's Creative Director for Louis Vuitton, a position he assumed in 2023, succeeding the late Virgil Abloh. Last week, his responsibilities included overseeing LVMH's show at Paris Fashion Week, where he debuted a new collaboration with A$AP Rocky.

On Friday, amidst the Fashion Week festivities, President Emmanuel Macron, took the opportunity to knight Pharrell.

Pharrell received the Légion d'Honneur at a ceremony in the Winter Garden of the Élysée Palace. Attendees included Future, Pusha T, Pedro Winter (aka Busy P), Louis Vuitton CEO Bernard Arnault, and UNESCO Director General Audrey Azoulay. According to Vanity Fair, Macron praised Pharrell for his "rare ability to turn the wildest ideas into reality."
