Radiohead's 'Kid A Mnesia' Immersive Experience to Debut at Coachella in a 17,000 Square-Foot Bunker
Radiohead's 'Kid A Mnesia' installation, Motion Picture House, is set to debut at Coachella in a massive underground bunker, featuring artwork by Thom Yorke and Stanley Donwood.

One of the most anticipated reveals of this year’s Coachella lineup is here. “The Bunker Debut of Radiohead’s Kid A Mnesia” isn't a performance, but a 75-minute audiovisual installation called Motion Picture House. It features artwork by singer Thom Yorke and longtime collaborator Stanley Donwood, along with music from the band’s combined 2021 reissue of Kid A and Amnesiac. Check out the trailer below.
The installation initially launched in 2021 as a virtual exhibit directed by Sean Evans. The band originally conceived it as a physical installation, but COVID restrictions changed those plans. Yorke describes the current iteration as “a Monster is trapped in a derelict museum of the lost & forgotten.”
At Coachella, Radiohead will debut Motion Picture House in a 17,000 square-foot underground bunker. Following its premiere, the show will embark on a short North American run through Brooklyn, Chicago, Mexico City, and San Francisco. The full dates are listed below.
In 2025, Radiohead completed a run of European dates. In a recent interview about his May solo album Blue Morpho, guitarist Ed O’Brien mentioned that a Thom Yorke LP is expected to drop later this year.
