Raye Announces Sophomore Album 'This Music May Contain Hope' and Global Tour

Raye is gearing up to release her sophomore album, This Music May Contain Hope, on March 27th, marking a significant moment for the Grammy-nominated artist. The announcement arrived with a deeply personal message, highlighting the album's intended purpose as a source of comfort and healing. "Music is medicine, I’ve always said that. I guess I’m in the process of making medicine for myself that I can share with the world," Raye shared. "I want us all to say to ourselves that it’s going to be all right, and I’m going to have faith in the seeds that I’ve planted beneath the snow. I wanted to create something that is a hug, bed or soft place for that person who needs it."

The album is structured around four distinct "seasons," with each vinyl side representing a unique chapter in a journey that begins in darkness and culminates in light. This concept promises a rich and immersive listening experience for fans.

Last year presented challenges for Raye when her car, containing invaluable songwriting books, was stolen. Fortunately, the car and its contents were later recovered. "It was a roller-coaster journey, but what I didn’t tell everyone is the police called me maybe two or three months ago, and they were like, ‘We found your car,’" Raye recounted. "Not only did I get it back, not one thing had been taken out of the car. All my songwriting books were there, untouched."

Coinciding with the album announcement, Raye is embarking on her 51-date arena tour, aptly named This Tour May Contain New Music. The tour spans across Europe, the U.K., and the United States. Rolling Stone has already recognized the tour as one of the most anticipated of 2026, with Larisha Paul noting Raye's "affinity for big band music and grand dramatic displays both onstage and in the studio...
