Sabrina Carpenter has offered a glimpse into what fans can expect from her headlining sets at Coachella 2026, hinting at her “most ambitious show” yet.
Having previously graced the Coachella stage in 2024, Carpenter declared to the crowd, “See you back here when I headline.” Now, that promise is becoming a reality as she prepares to co-headline alongside Justin Bieber and Karol G.
In a recent interview with fashion designer Marc Jacobs for Perfect, Carpenter discussed the preparations for her highly anticipated headline slots.
“It’s the most ambitious show I’ve ever done,” she revealed. “It’s probably the most time I’ve ever had to actually just sit down and talk about a show as I’m building it.”

Carpenter elaborated on the extensive planning process, stating, “Most of the time, you’re really quickly thrust into physical rehearsals, but this time around we started this process around seven months ago. So it’s been a long journey.”
She assured fans that her Coachella debut as a headliner would be “very special,” reminiscing about her 2024 performance during sunset on the main stage, a day that coincided with the release of her hit song ‘Espresso.’
“And now, two years later, we’re back. And I think that’s what makes this show feel really, really surreal: getting to celebrate all the songs that have come after it, and just how many lives they’ve lived since they’ve come out.”
In other Coachella news, Jack White has been confirmed as a last-minute addition to weekend one, while Lambrini Girls appear to have been removed from the lineup. Additionally, Karol G has reportedly been warned about potential visa implications related to certain onstage remarks.
Other notable acts performing at Coachella this year include The xx, The Strokes, Nine Inch Noize (Nine Inch Nails and Boys Noize), Disclosure, Turnstile, Geese, Ethel Cain, KATSEYE, Addison Rae, Labrinth, David Byrne, Interpol, Alex G, BIGBANG, Laufey, Iggy Pop, FKA Twigs, and Wet Leg.
NME previously reviewed Carpenter's BST Hyde Park headline show, noting her rise to pop superstardom: “[‘Espresso’ has] catapulted the singer from an artist orbiting the pop girl league tables to one of its reigning champs, but her command of this space is a testament to the years of graft it took to get there. All she needed was time.”
Sabrina Carpenter also delivered a live performance of ‘Manchild’ at the Grammys in February, where she received six nominations.
