Sebastian Bach Apologizes to Christina Applegate Following Memoir Revelations
Sebastian Bach has issued an apology to Christina Applegate after her memoir revealed details of their past relationship when she was 17. The former Skid Row singer addresses the situation and his new role with Twisted Sister.

Sebastian Bach is offering an apology after Christina Applegate detailed their past relationship in her new memoir, You With The Sad Eyes.
Applegate revealed she dated Bach when she was 17, having left a pre-fame Brad Pitt for him at the 1989 MTV Video Music Awards. She recounts Pitt's understandable frustration, but noted they later reconciled, acknowledging her youth at the time.
In her memoir, Applegate included a diary entry expressing feeling "out of control" upon learning Bach had a one-year-old child at the time. She expressed disappointment that he had spent time with her while having a long-term partner and child.
Addressing Applegate's claims in a recent Billboard interview, Bach stated he was "very surprised" by the headlines.
He elaborated: "I was a single guy on tour, in a band, and I met a lot of girls and I apologise if I hurt her – if I hurt anybody. When you’re young you get thrown into the whirlwind of rock ‘n’ roll, meeting a lot of people and you better hold on tight. It’s like being on a roller coaster. It was a long time ago. If I hurt anybody, I apologise for it."

In the same Billboard interview, Bach discussed stepping in as the vocalist for Twisted Sister, replacing Dee Snider. He will join them for their 50th-anniversary tour, marking their first reunion in a decade, following their retirement from touring in 2016.
Bach shared that Snider gave him "his blessing," explaining his happiness as a grandfather and his doctor's recommendation against touring.
"It’s like how the guys in my solo band are younger than me," Bach added. "The same way those guys give me an extra shot of energy, I’m kind of like the same thing to Twisted Sister."
