Sublime Announces 'Until The Sun Explodes,' First Album in 30 Years, Featuring H.R., Pennywise, G. Love, and More
Sublime is set to release Until The Sun Explodes, their first new album in three decades, featuring collaborations with H.R. of Bad Brains, Fletcher Dragge of Pennywise, G. Love, Skegss, and FIDLAR.

It's been a few years since Bradley Nowell's son, Jakob Nowell, officially joined the band. They previously released "Feel Like That," which was based on an old Bradley Nowell recording. Last year, they shared "Ensenada," their first original single with Jakob as the frontman. Now, Sublime is officially announcing Until The Sun Explodes, their first new album in 30 years.
The LP boasts an impressive list of features, including H.R. of Bad Brains, Fletcher Dragge of Pennywise, G. Love, Skegss, and FIDLAR. The title track is out now. Jakob shares his thoughts on the new album:
>The last Sublime record that will ever be made is Self-Titled. There’s no replacing history, period. Until The Sun Explodes the album is an epilogue, and "Until The Sun Explodes" the single is the epilogue to the epilogue. It is a tribute to the expansive works of Sublime, it is an acknowledgment for all that my father has done for me my entire life, and most importantly it is a thank you. I love you dad, and I owe you my life.
"Until The Sun Explodes" is accompanied by a music video directed by Ryan Baxley, featuring skateboarding icons Christian Hosoi and Omar Hassan. Watch it below:
