Sunn O))) Unleash "Butch's Guns" and Expand Tour Across Europe
Drone-metal titans Sunn O))) have dropped a new track, "Butch's Guns," from their forthcoming Sub Pop debut and announced an extensive European tour leg.
Sunn O))) are back, sonically crushing all in their path with their latest offering, “Butch’s Guns.” This track is a taste of their highly anticipated self-titled debut on Sub Pop, slated for release on April 3rd. Following the release of “Glory” last month, "Butch's Guns" further cements the band's dedication to earth-shattering drone metal. Prepare your speakers – and your soul.
Adding to the excitement, Sunn O))) has announced a European extension to their previously revealed North American tour. The European leg commences on July 23rd in Zurich and will engulf cities like Amsterdam, London, and Berlin, with more dates expected to surface.
Sunn O))) inked a deal with Sub Pop back in October, heralding the partnership with a trio of new singles: “Eternity’s Pillars,” “Raise the Chalice,” and “Reverential.” Before this new material, fans were submerged in the sonic depths of Life Metal and Pyroclasts, both released in 2019. The band also shared a live album, Metta, Benevolence, taken from their performance on Mary Anne Hobbs’ BBC Radio 6 Music show in 2021.
