Swae Lee Ignites Solo Career with New Single "Flammable" Ahead of Coachella Performance
Swae Lee, of Rae Sremmurd fame, is officially embarking on a solo journey with a new album titled Same Difference, previewed by the fiery single "Flammable."

Swae Lee, the more visible half of the dynamic rap duo Rae Sremmurd, is stepping further into his solo spotlight. While he previously explored solo work within the Speakerboxxx/The Love Below-esque triple album SR3MM in 2018 alongside his brother Slim Jxmmi, Swae is now pursuing a more traditional solo album venture.
Details surrounding Swae Lee's forthcoming solo album, Same Difference, are still under wraps. However, we know the title is derived from his fresh single, "Flammable," a track that's undeniably catchy. The beat, crafted by Young Thug's associate Rosen Beatz, features a riff-heavy, staccato rhythm that flirts with rage-rap elements without fully diving in. Swae effortlessly glides into a unique flow, blending rap and singing, allowing his voice to soar angelically across the track. A standout lyric? His boast about having "paper like a article."
The music video for "Flammable," directed by Logan Meis, showcases Swae Lee cruising on a fanboat while wielding a flamethrower, a spectacle that appears both perilous and exhilarating.
Swae Lee is slated to perform a solo set at this year's Coachella. Adding to his momentum, he recently collaborated with longtime partner Mike Will Made-It on the single "Rockstar Raging."
