The Alchemist and Roc Marciano Reunite on New Single "Lord Protect Me"
Legendary producer The Alchemist is gearing up to release 'The Good Book 3,' and the first single, "Lord Protect Me," features his frequent collaborator Roc Marciano.

Legendary rap producer The Alchemist has been crafting beats since the early '90s, initially as one half of the duo the Whooliganz with Scott Caan. His prolific output continues, and following the release of Mercy with Armand Hammer, he's announced a new solo album.
Roc Marciano and The Alchemist have a history of successful collaborations, including 2022's The Elephant Man's Bones and 2024's The Skeleton Key. Fresh off the release of his self-produced album 656, Roc Marci joins The Alchemist on "Lord Protect Me," the lead single from Alc's forthcoming LP, The Good Book 3. The first two Good Book albums were self-released in 2020.
"Lord Protect Me," co-produced by Alchemist and Budgie, features Roc Marciano navigating relationship issues over a characteristically hazy beat. While the subject matter might not be Roc's typical forte, he delivers it with his signature cool. Check out the video below.
The Good Book 3 is slated for release on January 23rd via ALC Records.
