The Strokes Drop Auto-Tuned New Single "Falling Out of Love" Ahead of Colbert Performance

Hot on the heels of their cassette-tape-delivered track "Going Shopping," The Strokes have unleashed another single from their highly anticipated album, Reality Awaits, their first in six years. "Falling Out of Love" is now available, continuing the band's experimentation with Auto-Tune.

You can catch Julian Casablancas and the band performing "Falling Out of Love" live tomorrow night, May 14, on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.

Reality Awaits, produced by Rick Rubin, is slated for release on June 26. Beyond the album, The Strokes have a packed schedule, including an international tour and headlining slots at major festivals like Bonnaroo in Tennessee and San Francisco’s Outside Lands.

Recently, at Coachella, the band used their main-stage platform to project a powerful video denouncing U.S. foreign intervention, featuring footage of bombings in Gaza and Iran.
