The Who's Orchestral Eden Project Performance Set for Live Album Release
Relive the magic: The Who's unforgettable orchestral performance at the Eden Project in July 2023 is coming to fans as a live album this May.

Rock legends The Who are set to release their July 2023 orchestral performance at the Eden Project as a live album in May, capturing a unique moment in the band's storied history.
The performance, which took place at the stunning Cornwall site with the Heart of England Philharmonic Orchestra three years ago, will soon be available for fans to own. The live album promises to deliver the energy and spectacle of that night.
It will be available as a 2CD digipak, a limited 3LP gatefold edition on recycled vinyl in a paper wallet, and a standard 3LP gatefold, starting May 29. Pre-orders are open here.

This release follows The Who's final show of their North American farewell tour in October of last year in Thousand Palms, California, where they closed with ‘Tea & Theatre’.
Pete Townshend reflected on the potential end of The Who, noting communication challenges with Roger Daltrey and humorously referring to the band as “a Who tribute band”.
While Townshend has expressed interest in new music, the future of a final Who album remains uncertain. He told NME that the issue wasn't his ability to write the songs, but Daltrey's willingness to record another album.
