Trump Slams Bad Bunny and Green Day's Super Bowl Performances: "Terrible Choice"
Former President Donald Trump voices his disapproval of Bad Bunny and Green Day performing at the Super Bowl, calling it a 'terrible choice' that 'sows hatred.'

Former President Donald Trump has once again inserted himself into the cultural conversation, this time taking aim at the selection of Bad Bunny and Green Day as performers for the Super Bowl.
In October, Trump initially grumbled about Bad Bunny's halftime show announcement, stating, "I never heard of him. I don't know who he is. I don't know why they're doing it...I think it's absolutely ridiculous."
This week, following the reveal of Green Day as the Super Bowl Opening Ceremony act, Trump doubled down in an exclusive interview with The Post from the Oval Office.
Trump claimed he would not attend the Super Bowl because of the distance, before adding: "I’m anti-them. I think it's a terrible choice. All it does is sow hatred. Terrible."
This isn't the first time the former president has clashed with these artists. Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day has famously altered lyrics in "American Idiot" during live performances to protest Trump's "MAGA agenda."
Republicans have also previously criticized Bad Bunny for his anti-ICE stance, highlighting the increasingly politicized landscape of popular culture. Recent events in Minneapolis, including a fatal shooting by ICE agents, further underscore the tensions surrounding the issue.
