Veeze Drops Surprise Mixtape 'Y'all Won' Amidst Anticipation for Sophomore Album
Detroit's enigmatic rap artist Veeze surprises fans with a new mixtape, 'Y'all Won,' while diligently crafting his highly anticipated second album.

The uniquely captivating Detroit rapper Veeze cemented his status as a cult favorite with his debut album Ganger. Peter A. Berry, a correspondent for Stereogum, even hailed it as the best rap album of 2023. Since then, Veeze has consistently released standalone singles such as "Signed A Napkin," "L.O.A.T.," and the collaborative track with Lil Yachty, "Can't Be Crete Boy." However, seemingly unsatisfied with just singles, Veeze unexpectedly dropped a surprise mixtape today.
Y'all Won, Veeze's latest mixtape, marks his first full-length project since Ganger. He emphasizes that this mixtape is not the official follow-up to his acclaimed debut. Veeze is actively developing Worst Tape, which he has designated as his sophomore album. In response to persistent fan requests for new material, he has unveiled Y'all Won, an 11-track mixtape devoid of guest appearances.
Many listeners appreciate the raw, unpolished essence of Veeze's music. Therefore, his off-the-cuff and relaxed delivery on Y'all Won is unlikely to disappoint. Alongside the mixtape release, he has also premiered a video for the track "Wrong Place, Wrong Time," featuring cameos from notable friends including Playboi Carti, Lil Baby, Rylo Rodriguez, Lil Yachty, and Chuckyy.
