Zayn Malik Debuts New Music at Las Vegas Residency Kickoff

Former One Direction star Zayn Malik has officially begun his highly anticipated Las Vegas residency, delivering an intimate and unforgettable performance for fans at Dolby Live at Park MGM on Tuesday, January 20th. The setlist was a carefully curated blend of new, unreleased material and familiar favorites, signaling a thrilling new chapter for the artist.

Taking the stage in a stylish army-inspired jacket and light-wash jeans, Malik captivated the audience with his soulful vocals and genuine appreciation. While One Direction enthusiasts might have hoped for a throwback or two, Zayn more than compensated by premiering a significant number of fresh tracks.

"I’ve been in the studio a little bit," Malik shared with the crowd, according to Variety. "I got a new record coming for you guys pretty soon. I’m really excited about that … I’ll be playing some songs tonight for the first time. For you guys."

This Sin City stint, encompassing seven shows throughout January, is described by his team as "only the beginning of what will be a massive year for Zayn as he gears up for his next chapter," as announced last September.
