The American Music Honors celebrated its fourth year with performances from Bruce Springsteen, Patti Smith, Dionne Warwick, and others, honoring legends like The Doors and Dr. Dre.

Last night witnessed the fourth annual American Music Honors, a prestigious ceremony presented by Monmouth University's Bruce Springsteen Archives & Center For American Music. This year's honorees included iconic names like The Doors, Patti Smith, Dionne Warwick, the E Street Band, and Dr. Dre. The event, held at the intimate 700-capacity Pollack Theater, featured a series of memorable performances.
A highlight of the evening was Springsteen's unexpected cover of The Doors' classic, "Light My Fire," marking its first-ever live performance by The Boss. He was joined by John Densmore and Little Steven And The Disciples Of Soul for this electrifying rendition.
Springsteen also shared the stage with Patti Smith, delivering a moving performance of The Doors' "The Crystal Ship" and her own powerful anthem, "Because The Night." Flavor Flav ignited the crowd with Public Enemy during "Fight The Power."
Other notable performers included Dionne Warwick, Amy Helm, and Steve Earle, adding their unique voices to the celebration. The night culminated in a collaborative singalong of Smith's "People Have The Power," with Flavor Flav spreading joy with hugs and his signature "yeah boyyyy" shouts.
