The groundbreaking Arena One at AMC concert series, poised to redefine how fans experience live music, has announced a postponement of its inaugural June screenings. AMC Theatres confirmed that the Arena One screenings, which promised real-time, interactive concerts beamed into cinemas, will now take place later in 2026.
In a statement, AMC Theatres cited a robust lineup of films and strong advance ticket sales throughout 2026 as the reason for making “some programming adjustments” during June. Tickets purchased for the originally scheduled events have been automatically refunded.
This delay impacts the highly anticipated performances by Bebe Rexha, Paris Hilton, Kim Petras, and Maren Morris, who were set to kick off the unique series. AMC expressed continued excitement for its partnership with Arena One, promising updated dates and additional artists in the coming weeks and months.
Originally announced as a revolutionary step in live entertainment, Arena One at AMC was set to bring concert experiences to 300 AMC locations across 89 markets in the United States.
The concept elevates traditional cinecasts, which gained traction with A-list artists in the late 2000s, by introducing a truly interactive element. Artists would perform on Arena One’s purpose-built stage, engaging directly with fans in theaters through innovative technology.
This initiative presents clear advantages for both artists and audiences. Performers gain the ability to reach a broader fanbase without the demands of extensive touring, while fans can enjoy a virtual front-row seat, overcoming barriers of cost, distance, or accessibility.
Rohit Kapoor, founder and chief creative officer of Arena One, articulated the vision: “The next chapter of live shows isn’t about proximity to big venues, it’s about creating visceral, intimate, affordable live connection between artists and fans no matter where they are.”
He added that Arena One offers artists “a new cinema-native canvas to create live performances, while amplifying the raw energy and shared fandom that makes live shows unforgettable.”
Initially, Bebe Rexha was slated for June 17, followed by Paris Hilton on June 18, Kim Petras on June 19, and Maren Morris on June 20. These dates are now subject to rescheduling.
Ticketholders were promised an immersive atmosphere, complete with powerful sound, massive screens, and comfortable seating, all designed to create an “immediate and electric” live experience.
Adam Aron, chairman and CEO of AMC Entertainment, previously hailed the venture as a “major announcement” and an “innovative step forward” for the business.
Peter Hamilton, CEO of Arena One, emphasized the creative freedom this new medium offers: “They’re not adapting tours; they’re building something new. That’s when a medium sparks reinvention.”
While fans await new dates, information regarding showtimes will eventually be available on AMCTheatres.com and arenaonelive.com/shows.
