At the 2026 Grammys, Bad Bunny won Best Música Urbana Album for his critically acclaimed DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS, which also won Album of the Year. He triumphed over a strong field including J Balvin (Mixteip), Feid (Ferxxo Vol X: Sagrado), Nicki Nicole (Naiki), Trueno (EUB Deluxe), and Yandel (Sinfónico (En Vivo)).

In a moving acceptance speech, Bad Bunny, the Puerto Rican megastar, addressed pressing social issues. "Before I say thanks to God, I’m going to say ICE out. We are not savage, we are not animals, we are not aliens, we are humans, and we are Americans."

He continued, advocating for compassion: "Also I want to say to the people: I know it’s tough not to hate these days... The hate gets more powerful with more hate. The only thing more powerful than hate is love. So please, we need to be different. If we fight, we have to do it with love. We don’t hate them. We love our people, and we love our family. And that’s the way to do it, with love. Don't forget that please. Thank you."

This marks Bad Bunny’s third win in the category, having previously won in 2023 for Un Verano Sin Ti and in 2022 for El Último Tour del Mundo. J Balvin has been nominated six times since 2019. This was the first nomination in the category for Nicki Nicole and Trueno.
