Becky G Addresses Sebastian Lletget Scandal and Reconciliation on 'Call Her Daddy'
Becky G opens up about the challenges she faced after her former fiancé Sebastian Lletget's infidelity came to light, confirming they are still together and addressing public criticism.

Becky G is addressing the scandal involving her relationship with her former fiancé and current boyfriend, Sebastian Lletget. In a recent appearance on Call Her Daddy, the singer confirmed that she and the Argentine-American soccer player are still together. She also spoke candidly about the challenges she faced after his infidelity became public knowledge.
"It was so hard to shut out the noise," Becky G told Alex Cooper, recounting the aftermath. "I called off my engagement. I took off my ring. There are things here that took place behind closed doors privately between me and this person who I love and care for deeply, who I’ve been betrayed by."
In March 2023, Lletget issued a public apology to Becky G following rumors of infidelity. The couple had been together for seven years and engaged for several months at that point. By November, they were spotted together again, though Becky G was not wearing her engagement ring.
Becky G shared her experience of navigating the situation in the public eye. "There’s a private heartbreak that’s taking place and then there’s a public heartbreak that’s taking place and both are extremely painful," she said. "But what was I think the hardest part for me to navigate through was giving myself that space and grace to make that decision for myself."
Following their reconciliation, Becky G faced criticism from fans online. "People who don’t know me don't should not have a say in what I do with my life," she stated, addressing the public response to her personal choices.
This isn't the first time Becky G has discussed her relationship publicly. Last December, she released her documentary Rebbeca, where she explored the scrutiny she faced. The film left the status of her relationship with Lletget open-ended. As she told Rolling Stone at the time, the documentary is "about identity, healing, forgiveness, and honoring the people and places that made me."
