Blossoms to Grace Leeds Festival 2026 as Special Guests
Blossoms are set to electrify the stage at Leeds Festival 2026 as special guests. Fresh off the release of 'Joke About Divorce,' the band will bring their signature sound to the festival's northern leg.

Good news for fans in the north! Blossoms have officially joined the lineup for Leeds Festival 2026, promising a memorable performance. Find all the details below.
The Stockport band will appear as special guests at the northern leg of this year’s Reading & Leeds on Friday, August 28. This announcement follows their recent return with a new single, ‘Joke About Divorce’.
Tom Ogden and co. last graced the R&L stage in 2021 and confirmed their return to Leeds Fest this summer via social media.
"Super excited to announce we’ll be special guests for @officialrandl at Leeds this August, Friday 28th 🔥,” they wrote. “Can’t wait for this one. See you there."
The festival organizers echoed the sentiment, declaring it a “Blossoms summer” in Leeds as they gear up for the Bank Holiday Weekend. Check out the announcements here:
Blossoms are slated to perform on the same day that Florence + The Machine and Chase & Status headline the main stage at Leeds. The weekend's headliners across both sites also include Charli XCX, Fontaines D.C., Dave, and Raye.
Several acts on the R&L '26 lineup will appear exclusively at either Reading or Leeds. Kasabian is set to open the main stage at Leeds on Thursday evening, August 27.
The lineup also features Skepta, Sombr, Role Model, JADE, Kneecap, Geese, Skye Newman, ADÉLA, and Keo, ensuring a diverse musical experience.
In March, R&L unveiled another wave of artists, including Violet Grohl, Holly Humberstone, Gurriers, Westside Cowboy, Declan McKenna, Maisie Peters, Paris Paloma, Cruz Beckham, The Lathums (Leeds only), Viagra Boys (Reading only), Florence Road, Men I Trust (Reading only), The K’s (Leeds only), Gunna (Reading only), Overpass, James Marriott, Kingfishr, Hybrid Minds, and Duke Dumont.
Speaking to NME at Reading 2025, R&L boss Melvin Benn hinted at significant plans for 2026, expressing confidence in the lined-up artists.
“I feel like we’re in a stronger position than I can remember for an awfully long time,” he stated. “I can’t remember when I’ve ever had two of the three nights booked by this stage. We’ve had one booked by this stage, but I can’t remember ever having two of the three.”
Blossoms at Neighbourhood Weekender
Before Leeds, Blossoms performed at Neighbourhood Weekender in Warrington and are scheduled to play at Tramlines Festival in Sheffield in July.
'Joke About Divorce' is the first new music from Blossoms since the 2025 deluxe edition of their fifth album, 2024’s ‘Gary.’ More new material is expected later this year.
Earlier this year, the group wrapped up a European headline tour. In a 2024 interview with NME, Ogden noted that Blossoms had elevated their live show during the ‘Gary’ era.
“It does feel like we’ve really stepped it up again,” he explained. “That’s important because I don’t want to drift off into the abyss like so many other bands do. This album is helping us stand out from the crowd a little bit.”
In other news, Blossoms make a cameo in the new Manchester-based rom-com Finding Emily.
