Bruce Springsteen, Foo Fighters, and More to Join Tom Morello's Power to the People Festival
Tom Morello's Power to the People Festival in Columbia, Maryland, boasts a star-studded lineup including Bruce Springsteen, Foo Fighters, and Joan Baez, celebrating activism, creativity, and hope.

The one-day event, curated by Tom Morello, is set to take place on October 3rd at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland. According to Morello, the festival "celebrates the spirit of activism, creativity, and hope".
Morello announced the festival during Bruce Springsteen's tour stop at Nationals Park.
Besides Morello himself, the lineup features an eclectic mix of artists and activists, including Dave Matthews, Brittany Howard, Dropkick Murphys, Jack Black (featuring Roman Morello, Revel Ian, Yoyoka Soma and Hugo Weiss), Serj Tankian, Cypress Hill, Killer Mike, grandson, Taylor Momsen, Matt Cameron, and the Linda Lindas. Visual artist Shepard Fairey will also contribute artwork and a DJ set. Presale began May 29th, with general on-sale on May 30th. The festival promises "intimate, collaborative, and special performances" across two stages. The grounds will also host Freedom Village, an area dedicated to civic engagement, grassroots organizing, education, mutual aid, and social impact initiatives. A portion of ticket sales and all net proceeds from VIP tickets will benefit VoteRiders and HeadCount, organizations focused on voter registration and pro-democracy efforts.
"The Power to the People festival is about freedom, justice, equality and rock & roll," Morello stated. "It’s about the power everyday human beings have when they come together through music, art, community, and action. We’re honored to bring this incredible lineup to the DC area for a day that celebrates the spirit of activism, creativity, and hope."
