BTS Announces Exclusive Spotify Performance in NYC Ahead of 'Arirang' Release
BTS is set to ignite the stage with their first U.S. performance in nearly four years at an exclusive Spotify event in New York City, celebrating the release of their highly anticipated album, Arirang.
The comeback of BTS is about to reach fever pitch. The global superstars are officially set to perform in the U.S. for the first time in almost four years.
BTS will grace New York City with their presence for Spotify x BTS: SWIMSIDE, an exclusive event marking the release of their first album in five years, Arirang. Mark your calendars: Monday, March 23rd is the date, just days after the album's March 20th drop.
Spotify is rolling out the red carpet for 1,000 of BTS's most dedicated fans, the ARMY, inviting them to an immersive experience filled with album-themed activities and, of course, the performance itself. But the love doesn't stop there. Spotify has also launched an in-app easter egg hunt, rewarding fans with exclusive audio messages from RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook, plus a BTS-themed quiz to test their encyclopedic knowledge.

The last time all seven members shared a stage in the United States was during their Permission to Dance on Stage shows back in 2022. The band then embarked on a hiatus to fulfill their mandatory military service in South Korea.
But the wait is over. BTS is back in full force. The day after Arirang hits the shelves, they'll be performing a free concert at Seoul’s Gwanghwamun Square. Following that, on April 9th, they are launching an ambitious 82-date world tour, keeping them on the road until March 2027. As RM stated in their first joint interview since 2022 with GQ, "The most important thing is just that we are here back together again. We’re going to see the fans all over the world."
