After a four-year hiatus for mandatory military service, BTS released their 10th album, ARIRANG, which hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200. They also launched their first major tour since 2022, starting on April 9 in Goyang, South Korea, with shows at Goyang Stadium. This 34-city, 85-show tour is the largest ever by a Korean artist. The Busan broadcast marks the third live cinema event of the ARIRANG tour, following previous broadcasts from Goyang and Tokyo, and their first performance at Busan Stadium since their last full-group show in 2022.
Following dates at Stanford Stadium in Stanford, California, BTS will perform at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on May 23, 24, 27, and 28.
Before that, they will make a “special appearance” at the 52nd American Music Awards on May 25, marking their first awards show appearance in four years. They are nominated in three AMA categories, including Artist of the Year, Song of the Summer (“Swim”), and Best K-pop Artist.
